Fairtrade Fortnight March 9, 2011

We are taking part in fairtrade fortnight which runs from 28th February – 7th March. During these two weeks the children have been learning about fairtrade through fun activities and lessons in class. Some classes have been making posters and looking at the fairtrade logo, other have been tasting fairtrade food and some have been making leaflets and writing poems. We think it is important that farmers who work hard to grow crops get a fair amount of money for their products.

We hope to see lots of children at the Fairtrade breakfast on Thursday 10th March from 8.15. It will cost 60p for all children to enjoy a healthy, fairtrade start to their day!
